IRON-ON INSTRUCTIONS
1. Surface of iron and garment or fabric must be clean.
2. Use table below to select desired head setting for iron or heat press.
3. Area of fabric where applique / emblem is to be applied should be preheated for 10 seconds.
4. With embroidery face up, place applique / emblem on garment or fabric, cover with a fine cloth and iron for 12 to 15 seconds.
5. Turn garment or fabric over, cover with a fine cloth and iron back of applique / emblem for 12 to 15 seconds.
TABLE OF HEAT SETTINGS
Polyester / Cotton Blends: 350-375 degrees
Polyester Knits: 350 degrees
Cotton & Linen: 375-400 degrees
Nylon: 350-375 degrees
Lack of sufficient heat or pressure when ironing can cause improper bond.
NOTE: The above table of heat settings is for guideline purposes ONLY! We suggest you experiment at your end to determine the proper heat seal setting.
After conducting Steps 1 thru 5 above, let the garment cool and check the adhesion to be certain you have achieved a good bond.
Repeat Steps 3 – 4 – 5 again if necessary.
